The Zipp 404 S A1 Rear Wheel is a 700C road wheel designed for high aerodynamic performance and stability. It features a 50mm deep, 23mm internal width carbon rim with a hookless, tubeless-ready straight side profile. The rim uses a double-wall construction and comes with adhesive decals.
This rear wheel has 20 spokes arranged in a 2-cross pattern with Sapim CX-Sprint spokes, and it is built around Zipp’s ZR700 hub with stainless steel cartridge bearings and 36 points of quick engagement. The hub has a 12mm thru axle and 142mm spacing with center-lock disc brake compatibility. The cassette body type is SRAM XD-R.
Compatible with tubeless tires only, the wheel uses a Presta valve and weighs approximately 1585 grams. It comes in black with white graphics and has a rim strip width between 22 and 27.9mm. This wheel includes a lifetime warranty and crash replacement policy.
