The Astral Outback 29″/700c Alloy Disc Rim is designed for long-distance travel on dirt, suitable for lightweight cross-country mountain bikes or heavy-duty gravel bikes. It features an asymmetric rim design that improves spoke tension balance by up to 30%. The rim has 28 holes and a polished silver finish. It includes external nipples with a 23mm depth and a rim width of 25mm. This disc brake compatible rim can be used with standard tires or tubeless setups. It is tubeless ready and compatible with tubeless tape and valve stems, which are sold separately. The effective rim diameter (including the slotted external nipple) is 596mm, with a spoke bed diameter of 593.5mm. The rim weighs 460 grams.
