The Continental Contact Tire is a versatile 700 x 35 clincher tire designed for road and touring-hybrid use. It features a popular tread pattern from the urban/tour range, specially designed for enhanced safety with its lamellar structure. The SafetySystem Breaker incorporates a Kevlar-reinforced, high-strength nylon fabric that provides puncture and cut resistance while remaining light and flexible. This protection helps guard against foreign objects and extends the tire’s lifespan without significantly increasing weight or rolling resistance. The tire has a smooth uninterrupted center strip for easy rolling and is rated E25 for e-bikes, offering additional protection against premature wear caused by the extra driving force. The tire comes in black, has a wire bead, a tread with 330 TPI, and operates at up to 87 PSI. It weighs 610 grams.
