The Continental Gator Hardshell tire is designed for long-lasting use on rough surfaces and rugged pavement, making it suitable for touring or commuting. It features a durable puncture protection system called Hardshell, which includes a wider PolyX Breaker under the tread center and shoulders. The tire’s three-ply carcass covers the entire tire, and the outer sidewalls are reinforced with DuraSkin fabric for added reliability. This black folding clincher tire measures 700 x 28 (28 mm width, 700c diameter) and has a high-mileage tread compound suited for athletic urban riding. It has a thread per inch (TPI) of 330 and a maximum pressure of 116 PSI. The tire is produced exclusively in Germany.
