Description
The Continental Grand Prix 5000 is a 650b x 28 road tire designed for performance and reliability. It features a folding bead and a clincher design. The tire uses a Black Chili Compound, combining synthetic and natural rubbers to optimize rolling efficiency and grip. It includes a Vectran Breaker, a cut-resistant, lightweight, and flexible fabric that protects against punctures without increasing rolling resistance. LazerGrip technology provides a micro-profiled tread pattern on the tire’s shoulder for improved cornering. Active Comfort Technology (ACT) is embedded in the tire to absorb vibrations and enhance ride comfort. The tire has a 330 TPI casing, weighs 230 grams, and offers protection on both tread and sidewall. It is black in color and rated for up to 116 PSI. Suitable for road riding, the tire measures 28 mm in width and fits a 650b / 27.5″ diameter wheel.
