The Continental Pure Contact tire is designed for urban riders who commute, shop, and explore with confidence. Measuring 27.5 x 2.2 inches, this clincher tire features a folding bead and comes in a Black/Coffee/Graphite Reflex color scheme. It incorporates advanced Vectran and PolyX Breaker technologies for enhanced protection against cuts and punctures, with flat protection on both the tread and sidewall.
Vectran Breaker uses a high-strength liquid crystal-polymer yarn that is lighter, more flexible, and more cut-resistant than traditional materials. PolyX Breaker adds a tightly woven polyester fiber layer that increases puncture resistance without compromising rolling resistance. The tire is rated E50 for e-bike use, providing durability to withstand additional driving forces and reduce premature wear.
A reflective Graphite Reflex stripe on the sidewall improves visibility in low light conditions for added safety. The tire is constructed using recycled and renewable materials following sustainable manufacturing methods. It has a 330 TPI casing, weighs 760 grams, and is designed for road and touring-hybrid use with a recommended pressure of 58 PSI.
