The Continental Pure Contact tire is designed for urban riders who need reliable performance for commuting, shopping, and exploring. It features advanced protection with a combination of Vectran and PolyX Breaker technologies. Vectran Breaker is made from a liquid crystal-polymer yarn that provides superior cut resistance and strength, while remaining lightweight and flexible. PolyX Breaker uses a dense polyester fiber weave to protect against punctures without affecting rolling resistance.
This clincher tire has a folding bead and is sized 27.5 x 2.4 inches (ISO diameter 584mm, width 61mm). It is rated for e-bike use (E50), offering a durable structure to handle the additional forces of electric assistance and reduce premature wear. The tread and sidewall provide flat protection, and the tire has a TPI of 330 for quality construction.
