The DT Swiss FR 541 is a 27.5″ tubeless-ready disc rim designed for mountain biking and e-bikes. Made from welded aluminum alloy, it features a 30mm internal width and a 21mm rim depth. The rim uses a hooked design suitable for tubeless tires and has 32 spoke holes drilled for compatibility with disc brake hubs.
A key feature is the patented Pro Head Reinforcement (PHR) system, which increases the load-bearing surface of the spoke nipples, reducing stress and improving durability. This system, combined with nearly seamless welding and a special anodizing treatment, enhances strength and provides a 17% improvement in pinch flat resistance compared to previous models.
The FR 541 rim requires Squorx/Pro Head nipples and washers, which are included in the package. It comes with red decals installed and additional sets of gold, chrome, and black decals for customization. The rim is compatible with Presta valves and is finished in silver.
