Description
The DT Swiss FR 541 is a 29″ tubeless-ready disc rim designed for mountain riding and e-bike use. It features a wide 30mm internal rim width for better tire support and improved performance on rough terrain. Constructed from welded aluminum alloy, this rim has a hooked bead design for tubeless compatibility.
A nearly seamless welding process combined with a special anodizing treatment enhances durability and strength. The rim incorporates DT Swiss’s patented Pro Head Reinforcement System (PHR), which acts as a ball-and-socket interface to balance the load transferred to the rim. This system increases the load-bearing surface of the spoke nipples, reduces localized stress, and improves resistance to pinch flats by 17% compared to the previous FR 560 rim.
The rim includes 32 spoke holes and requires Squorx/Pro Head spoke nipples and PHR washers, both of which are provided. It comes with red decals pre-installed and an additional set of gold, chrome, and black decals. This rim is designed exclusively for disc brakes and features a 0mm center offset. The ERD (Effective Rim Diameter) is 603mm, and the rim weighs 605 grams. Valve type is Presta. The color is silver.
