Description
The DT Swiss XM 431 is a 29″ tubeless-ready disc brake rim designed for all-mountain and trail riding. It features a durable welded aluminum construction with a 30mm internal width that improves tire stability, grip, and control for modern wide tires. The rim’s asymmetric profile balances spoke tension, enhancing wheel strength and durability, while wider rim flanges increase impact resistance on rough terrain.
DT Swiss’ patented Pro Head Reinforcement (PHR) System acts like a ball and socket, evenly distributing load to the rim and requires unique washers and Squorx nipples, which are included along with three decal kits in gold, chrome, and black. The nearly seamless weld and special anodizing treatment increase strength and long-lasting durability.
This 28-hole rim has a hook design for reliable tire retention and better performance at lower pressures. It uses Presta valves and is compatible with e-bikes. The rim’s effective rim diameter (ERD) is 602mm with a 3mm offset, and it weighs 580 grams. It is black in color and made from aluminum.
