The MRP G5 SL Chainguide is a durable and reliable chain guide designed for downhill, enduro, and freeride use. It features an upper chain guide and a lower pulley system to ensure excellent chain retention. The chainguide includes MRP’s strongest fiber-reinforced bashguard combined with the lower guide cover, providing superior strength and durability in a single unit.
The full-size upper guide has an internal lining to reduce chain noise, while the integrated skid plate protects the chainrings and helps the guide slide smoothly over rocks and obstacles. The G-slide slider block ensures quiet and dependable operation in muddy conditions.
This chainguide mounts using the ISCG-05 standard and is made from aluminum. It fits chainrings sized 36 to 40 teeth and is designed for 7- to 12-speed drivetrains with chainlines of 50mm or wider. Installation and adjustment require only a single 4mm hex tool, and the Swingset hardware allows the two guides to rotate apart for easy chain installation. The chainguide is finished in black and weighs approximately 198 grams.
