The MRP G5 SLR Chainguide “Mini” is designed for chainring sizes between 32 and 36 teeth and mounts using the ISCG-05 standard. It features a carbon backplate and a combined upper chain guide with a lower pulley system to ensure reliable chain retention. The unit includes MRP’s fiber-reinforced bashguard that protects the chainrings and enhances durability on demanding downhill terrain. The full-size upper guide has an internal design to reduce chain slap noise and is suitable for enduro, downhill, and freeride riding. An integrated skid plate helps protect the chainrings while allowing the guide to glide smoothly over rocks and obstacles. The G-slide slider block provides quiet and dependable operation even in muddy conditions. Installation and adjustment require only a single 4mm hex key, and the Swingset hardware allows the guides to rotate apart for easy chain installation. This chainguide is compatible with 7- to 12-speed drivetrains and chainlines of 50mm or wider. It weighs approximately 153 grams and comes in black and carbon colors.
