Description
The MRP SXg SL Chain Guide is designed for 30-34 tooth chainrings and mounts using the ISCG-05 standard. It features a black alloy backplate and a co-molded “HD2” upper guide with a softer interior to provide quiet chain guidance. The upper guide and backplate interface are tracked and grooved to increase stiffness and simplify installation. The lower guide uses Whippersnapper technology for secure chain retention without friction or moving parts. An integrated skid protects the chainrings and helps the guide glide over rocks and obstacles. Installation and adjustment require only a single 4mm hex tool. The swingset hardware allows the guides to rotate apart, making chain installation easier. This chain guide is compatible with chain lines of 49mm and wider, including Boost 148, and works with 1×7, 1×9, 1×10, and 1×11 drivetrains. The unit weighs 149 grams.
