Description
This bundle includes two Pirelli P ZERO Race TUB SL tires, sized 700 x 26, tubular and folding, in black. The P ZERO Race Tub SL is a lightweight racing tubular tire designed through extensive research and development. It features a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) inner tube that replaces the standard latex tube, offering a significant weight reduction while maintaining speed and puncture protection.
The tires use Pirelli’s SmartEVO compound, a high-performance rubber blend engineered to maximize handling and grip on both dry and wet roads without increasing rolling resistance. The casing is a fine 320 TPI Corespun fabric reinforced with aramid fibers for added puncture protection, comfort, and precise handling, optimized for modern wide tubular rims.
The tread design, inspired by Pirelli’s motorsport experience, includes a lightning bolt pattern with narrow angles at the center for even wear and progressive feedback, and wider lateral angles for responsive handling during cornering.
