Description
The Race Face Turbine 29″ Rear Wheel is designed specifically for rear use with a 12×148 Boost axle spacing. It features a 30mm internal diameter and 35mm outer diameter aluminum rim with Anvil Edge sidewalls to help resist pinch flats. The tubeless-ready rim allows tires to mount easily without the need for a compressor.
This wheel uses asymmetric rims paired with same-length spokes for nearly even left and right tension. It is built with double-butted straight pull spokes and alloy spoke nipples. The Vault hub includes easily replaceable end caps to fit various axle standards and uses a 120-point, 6×3-pawl system that engages every 3 degrees. It accepts either a SRAM XD or Shimano Micro Spline freehub.
The rotor mounts with a 6-bolt International Standard. The wheel comes in black with 28 holes, a 20mm rim depth, and is compatible with Turbine 30 Rear rims. It carries a lifetime warranty that covers crashes. The complete front and rear wheelset weighs 1865 grams.
