Description
The Race Face Turbine-R 35 is a 29″ rear wheel designed with a 12×148 Boost rear axle spacing and features a 35mm wide rim profile suited for wider tires ranging from 2.4″ to 2.8″. The rim is made from double wall 6069 aluminum, offering increased strength compared to traditional 6061 aluminum. Its asymmetric design paired with equal length spokes helps maintain balanced tension on both sides of the wheel.
This tubeless-ready wheel allows tires to be mounted easily without the need for a compressor. It has a wide bearing stance to reduce radial loading and includes replaceable hub end caps for compatibility with various axle standards. The hub employs a 120-point, 6×3-pawl system with engagement every 3 degrees for efficient power transfer.
The wheel uses a Vault hub with a choice between SRAM XD or Shimano Micro Spline freehubs and has an International Standard 6-bolt disc rotor mount. It is built with double-butted spokes and brass spoke nipples. The rim is compatible with the Arc 35 model and comes in black with 28 spoke holes.
