The RaceFace Era SL Rear Wheel is a 29-inch carbon wheel designed for rear axle spacing of 12 x 148mm with a 6-bolt disc brake mount. It features a 29mm internal rim width that fits tires up to 2.6 inches and a rim depth of 22mm for strength and durability. The carbon rim weighs 385 grams, making it the lightest rim RaceFace has produced, which helps with quick acceleration and maintaining momentum on climbs.
This tubeless-ready wheel comes with tape and valves included. It is built around the Vault hub, which offers 3 degrees of engagement and large-diameter bearings for reliable long-term performance. The hub end caps are easily replaceable to fit various axle standards. The wheel uses 28 straight-pull spokes in a 3-cross lacing pattern with alloy spoke nipples and a 3mm offset, supporting up to 140mm of rear suspension travel.
The wheel features a Shimano Micro Spline cassette body and a Presta valve. The color is carbon black, and the wheel is compatible with 6-bolt disc brakes. It comes with a lifetime warranty that includes crash coverage.
