Description
The Raceface NEXT SL Rear Wheel is a 29-inch (622) mountain bike wheel designed with a full carbon fiber rim for strength and lightweight performance. It features a double-wall rim construction with a 31mm external width and 26mm internal width, suitable for tubeless-ready tires. The rim comes taped and includes Presta valves.
This rear wheel uses a 12mm thru-axle and 148mm hub spacing with a Vault hub designed for longevity, smoothness, and low drag. It has 28 spokes of a single length used throughout the wheelset for consistent tension. The hub includes a 6 double tooth pawl system with 120 points of engagement (3 degrees) for quick and reliable power transfer.
The wheel is compatible with Shimano HG cassette bodies and supports disc brakes with an IS 6-bolt mount. It has a wheel depth of 21mm, a rim strip width range of 22-27.9mm, and weighs 1555g for the complete wheelset. Note that a skewer is not included.
