Description
The Wheel Factory DT XM481 Wheel is a 27.5″ rear wheel designed for downcountry riding. It features a DT Swiss XM481 aluminum rim with a 30mm internal width, suitable for tires between 2.3″ and 2.8″. The rim is made using a nearly seamless welding process and includes the DT Swiss Pro Head Reinforcement System (PHR System), which balances the load transferred to the rim with a ball and socket interface using unique washers and Squorx nipples.
The wheel uses a DT Swiss 370 LN hub that is compatible with all Ratchet LN freehub bodies and DT’s 36 and 54 POE ratchet upgrade options. It is built with DT Swiss Competition double butted spokes (2.0/1.8/2.0) and brass DT Swiss Squorx nipples. The wheel is hand laced and trued in the USA.
