Description
The Wheel Factory Stan’s Crest MK4 Wheel is a 29-inch rear wheel designed for use with Micro Spline drivetrains. It features a 25mm wide asymmetrical aluminum rim optimized for gravel tires around 40mm wide up to mountain bike tires up to 2.3 inches. The Crest MK4 rim uses Bead Socket Technology (BST-Asymmetric) to provide a wider inside rim cavity with shorter sidewalls, which helps balance resistance to dents and improves tire bead retention during aggressive riding.
This wheel is built with a DT Swiss 370 LN hub compatible with all Ratchet LN freehub bodies and offers upgrade options with DT’s 36 and 54 POE ratchets. The spokes are DT Swiss Competition double butted (2.0/1.8/2.0) and secured with alloy DT Swiss Squorx nipples. The wheel is hand-laced and trued in the USA.
Additional details include a 32-hole count, 18mm rim depth, 955g weight, tubeless compatibility, 12×148 rear axle spacing, and 6-bolt disc brake mounting. The wheel comes in black and is specifically designed for the Crest MK4 rim profile.
