Description
The Wheel Factory Stan’s Flow MK4 Wheel is a 27.5″ rear mountain bike wheel designed with a 12x148mm axle spacing and XD driver body. It features a Flow MK4 rim made from durable 6069 aluminum with a welded joint and reinforced spoke bed. The rim uses Stan’s Bead Socket Technology (BST-Asymmetric), which provides a wider inside rim cavity and shorter sidewalls to balance resistance to dents and improve tire bead retention on both sides, enhancing performance in rough terrain and aggressive cornering.
The wheel is built around a DT Swiss 370 LN hub, compatible with all Ratchet LN FHB bodies and DT Swiss 36 and 54 POE ratchet upgrade options. It is hand laced and trued in the US using double butted DT Swiss Competition spokes (2.0/1.8/2.0) and brass DT Swiss Squorx nipples. The wheel is tubeless-ready, has 32 spoke holes, a rim width of 30mm, rim depth of 18.9mm, and weighs 1040g. The hub uses a 6-bolt brake mount and the wheel comes in black.
