Description
The Wolf Tooth LoneWolf Aero Chainguide for Ridley is designed to mount directly to select Ridley bike models, replacing the front derailleur for 1x drivetrains. It fits the Falcn RS, Grifn RS, X-Night, Noah 3.0, Noah FAST 3.0, E-Grifn, Astr, and Astr RS. This chainguide helps prevent dropped chains on road, gravel, and cyclocross bikes.
The design features a low-profile head that covers only the top and inboard side of the chain and uses the GuideLock quick adjustment system, allowing 8mm of chainline adjustment without shims. It works with both round and oval chainrings and offers three base sweep options tailored to different chainring size ranges for each compatible bike model:
– Falcn / Falcn RS / Noah 3.0 / Noah FAST 3.0
– Low Sweep: 40-48T
– Mid Sweep: 46-54T
– High Sweep: 54-62T
– E-Grifn / Grifn RS
– Low Sweep: 38-46T
– Mid Sweep: 44-52T
– High Sweep: 52-60T
– Astr / Astr RS / X-Night RS
– Low Sweep: 36-44T
– Mid Sweep: 42-50T
– High Sweep: 48-56T
The chainguide has been tested with Team Jumbo-Visma and used in major races including the 2023 Giro d’Italia, the 2023 Tour de France, as well as Unbound Gravel 2023 and 2024. It weighs 39g for the high sweep, 41g for the mid sweep, and 43g for the low sweep. The base is made from 6061-T6 machined aluminum with stainless steel hardware and an injection molded head.
