Description
The WTB KOM Light i23 Rim is a 29-inch tubeless-ready rim designed for disc brake systems. It features WTB’s proprietary 4D spoke drilling, which reduces spoke binding and lateral loading, helping to distribute tension more evenly across the rim. The spoke bed incorporates patented CVX technology that reinforces the spoke area by adding material only where needed, increasing strength without extra weight.
This rim includes the Solid Strip and requires TCS 2.0 tape for tubeless setup, providing a reliable and easy-to-mount tubeless system. It has an internal rim width of 23mm, an effective rim diameter (ERD) of 606mm, and is drilled for 32 spokes without eyelets. The rim is made from alloy, comes in black, and uses a Presta valve. It is designed with zero center offset and is compatible with tires sized for the 622 ISO diameter standard commonly used in 29-inch wheels. The rim does not have a brake track since it is intended for disc brakes only, and it weighs 443 grams.
