Description
This bundle includes two WTB KOM Light i25 rims, each 29″ in size and tubeless ready. Made from a sturdy AL6069 alloy, these rims are designed for disc brakes only and feature a 32-hole hub drilling. The rims have a 25mm internal width and a depth of 17.8mm.
WTB’s patented CVX technology enhances the spoke bed by thickening material where needed and removing it where it’s not, improving strength without adding weight. This design also increases the contact area between the nipple head and rim to better distribute load and reduce stress at the spoke hole. The 4D angled spoke drilling helps prevent binding and lateral loading, dispersing tension more evenly.
These rims employ the TCS 2.0 tubeless system, which provides a reliable, easy-to-mount setup. Each rim includes a WTB Solid Strip that creates a smooth surface between the tire and rim and helps prevent punctures from broken spokes. To complete the tubeless setup, the application of TCS tape on top of the Solid Strip is required.
