Description
The WTB KOM Light i25 Rim is a 29-inch alloy rim designed for tubeless-ready mountain biking with disc brakes. Made from durable AL6069 alloy, it features a 25mm internal width and a 17.8mm depth for reliable performance on trail rides. The rim uses patented CVX technology to strengthen the spoke bed by optimizing material placement, improving spoke and nipple alignment, and reducing stress at the spoke holes. This 32-hole rim includes 4D angled spoke drilling to evenly distribute tension and prevent binding.
The rim is part of WTB’s TCS 2.0 tubeless system, offering easier installation and a dependable seal. It comes with a WTB Solid Strip that creates a smooth surface between the tire and rim, helping to prevent air loss if a spoke breaks. TCS tape is required for tubeless setup and must be applied over the Solid Strip. The rim uses Presta valves and has no brake track since it is designed for disc brakes only. It has an effective rim diameter (ERD) of approximately 603-606 mm and weighs around 459 grams. The rim is finished in black and does not include eyelets.
