Description
The WTB KOM Tough i25 Rim is a 29-inch tubeless-ready rim designed for disc brakes. It features a dual I-beam construction that enhances strength and stiffness. Patented CVX technology improves spoke and nipple alignment by increasing strength at the spoke holes without adding weight. The rim is made from durable aluminum alloy (AL 6069) and has an internal width of 25mm.
The updated spoke bed provides a better interface between the nipple and rim, while 4D angled spoke drilling reduces binding and distributes tension more evenly. The TCS 2.0 tubeless system includes the WTB Solid Strip, which creates a smooth surface between tire and rim and prevents punctures from broken spokes. TCS tape is required for tubeless setup, applied over the Solid Strip. This system is designed for easy installation and reliable performance.
The rim has 32 spoke holes, no eyelets, a rim center offset of 0mm, and is compatible with Presta valves. It weighs approximately 493 to 508 grams and has a rim depth of 18.1mm. The color is black.
