Description
This bundle includes two WTB KOM Tough i30 rims, sized 27.5″ and designed for tubeless setup. Each rim features a dual I-beam construction for increased strength and stiffness, with patented CVX technology that improves spoke and nipple alignment to strengthen the spoke bed. Made from durable aluminum alloy (AL 6069), these rims offer a 30mm internal width and weigh approximately 493g each.
The rims use WTB’s TCS 2.0 tubeless system, which provides easy and reliable tire mounting. Included with the rims is the WTB Solid Strip, a protective layer that creates a smooth surface between tire and rim and prevents air loss if a spoke breaks. Note that TCS tape is also required for tubeless setup and must be applied over the Solid Strip.
Additional features include a recessed center channel for Solid Strip placement, and 4D angled spoke drilling that reduces spoke tension stress and prevents binding. These rims are compatible with disc brakes only, have 32 spoke holes, and come in black color. The rims are designed without eyelets or brake tracks, have a rim center offset of 0mm, and use Presta valves.
