Description
This bundle includes two WTB KOM Tough i40 27.5″ rims with TCS 2.0 tubeless technology. Each rim features 32 spokes and is made from durable aluminum with a dual I-beam construction for increased strength and stiffness. The rims incorporate CVX patented technology that improves spoke and nipple alignment, enhancing strength at the spoke holes. They have an updated spoke bed for a better interface between nipple and rim. The TCS 2.0 system makes tubeless tire mounting easier and more reliable. Each rim includes a WTB Solid Strip, which provides a smooth surface between tire and rim and helps prevent air loss if a spoke breaks. Note that TCS tape is required to complete the tubeless setup. These rims are black, designed for disc brakes, with a width of 40mm, a wheel depth of 18.1mm, and a manufacturer-specified effective rim diameter (ERD) of 565mm. Each rim weighs 611 grams.
