Description
The Hope Pro 5 Rear Hub is designed with over 30 years of hub manufacturing experience to meet the demands of modern bike technology. It features improved sealing to prevent dirt entry and reduce drag, with Labyrinth seals that provide smooth freewheeling performance. The wire-cut pawls are made from high-strength steel to increase durability, load capacity, and reduce drag. The hub shell is machined from forged 2014 T6 aluminum billet, offering increased stiffness without added weight.
This hub provides 108 points of engagement through a new offset 6-pawl freehub design. It is fully serviceable and rebuildable using simple tools. End spacers, sold separately, can be swapped to fit different frame and axle standards.
This rear hub is compatible with 12 x 148mm axle spacing, has 28 spoke holes, uses a SRAM XD cassette body, and is designed for 6-bolt disc brakes. It features cartridge bearings and comes in black. Flange diameters are 57mm on the left and 59mm on the right, with center-to-flange measurements of 35mm (left) and 22.6mm (right).
