Description
The Surly Big Dummy Cargo Frameset in Twilight Zone (Large) is a steel longtail cargo bike frame designed to carry a rider and up to 200 pounds of cargo smoothly and with ease. Made from 100% Surly 4130 Chromoly Natch tubing with double-butted main triangle and fork blades, it features TIG welding and E.D. coating for rust prevention. The frameset includes the Dummy Deck, Dummy Rails, Surly Dummy Rail Collars for a stiffer rail/frame interface, Dummy Rail Collars, Dummy Rails, Dummy Deck, Big Dummy Bags Version 2.0, and a kickstand plate. It has fender eyelets and Surly Trip Guides for continuous brake or shift housing and hydraulic brake lines.
The frame supports a maximum tire size of 26 x 2.5 inches, with no restrictions on chainring size. It offers two standard bottle mounts and one Three-Pack mount on the large frame, plus two Four-Pack mounts on the fork. The rear axle is quick release (QR) 135mm, and the front axle is QR 100mm, both designed for disc brakes. The fork is rigid and made of steel. The total combined rider and cargo weight limit is 400 pounds. This frameset is part of the Big Dummy platform and is intended for wheel size 26 inches.
