Description
The Surly Big Dummy Cargo Frameset in size Small features a 26″ steel frame finished in Twilight Zone blue. Designed for longtail cargo bikes, it supports a combined rider and cargo weight up to 400 pounds. The frameset uses 100% Surly 4130 Chromoly Natch tubing with double-butted main triangle and fork blades. It is TIG welded and E.D. coated to resist rust.
The frameset includes the Dummy Deck, Dummy Rails with two Dummy Rail Collars for added stiffness, Dummy Bags Version 2.0, and a kickstand plate. It also has fender eyelets and Surly Trip Guides to route brake or shift housing and hydraulic lines. Tire clearance allows up to 26 x 2.5″ tires, with no restriction on chainring sizes.
Additional features include two standard bottle mounts and one Three-Pack mount on the Small frame, plus two Four-Pack mounts on the fork. The fork is rigid steel, with front and rear quick-release axles (100mm front, 135mm rear) designed for disc brakes. This frameset comes in three sizes (Small, Medium, Large) to accommodate a range of riders.
